Aims and Scope
**Aim:**
The Pakistan Journal of Medical and Clinical Research (PJMCr) is dedicated to advancing medical and clinical research within Pakistan and beyond. PJMCr aims to provide a platform for the dissemination of high-quality scientific knowledge, innovative clinical practices, and evidence-based medical interventions. The journal is committed to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, promoting excellence in medical research, and contributing to the improvement of healthcare outcomes and patient care. By facilitating the exchange of cutting-edge research findings and clinical experiences, PJMCr seeks to support the professional development of healthcare professionals, enhance medical education, and inform healthcare policies and practices in Pakistan.
**Scope:**
PJMCr welcomes original research articles, review papers, case reports, clinical trials, and perspectives covering a broad range of topics related to medical and clinical research. The scope of PJMCr encompasses, but is not limited to, the following areas:
1. **Clinical Medicine:** Original research, clinical trials, and case studies in various medical specialties, including but not limited to, internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, and dermatology.
2. **Public Health:** Epidemiological studies, health services research, preventive medicine, health promotion, and community-based interventions aimed at improving population health and reducing the burden of disease.
3. **Medical Education:** Innovations in medical curriculum development, teaching methodologies, assessment practices, and continuing medical education programs to enhance the competence and professionalism of healthcare providers.
4. **Clinical Pharmacology:** Studies on drug efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacogenetics to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes.
